Our Mission:

To improve the quality of life in the community

through volunteer service and fund development

Done in a Day

Volunteer service is of the utmost importance to JJWL and we strive to instill this importance in our members.  Done in a Days are one-time opportunities for members to volunteer a few hours of time to a worthy event, cause, or project.  JJWL recognizes that our members are busy with work, family, and other commitments.  Done in a Days provide members the opportunity to serve the community in small windows of time, but with big impact.

JJWL frequently provides volunteer services to the Interfaith Shelter, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jackson County, and Ella Sharp Park.  Our members have provided services to the John George Home, Special Olympics, Jackson Friendly Home, Habitat for Humanity, Community Respite Center, Aware Shelter, Born Free and many others.

To submit Done in a Day volunteer opportunities to JJWL, please email doneinaday@jjwl.org.
